First up we have Harbourlife November 22nd @ Fleet Steps, Mrs Macquarie's point. Put on by Fuzzy, who are also responsible for Parklife, Shore Thing and Field Day. Harbourlife is another festival which sold out in record time, so those people who managed to score tickets will be enjoying the tunes of Felix Da Housecat, Dj Sneak, feadz and more to be announced.
From November to January it's busy for the folks from Fuzzy. Next up is Shore Thing on December 31st. This is the party of parties for New Years Eve. Featuring Underworld, Eric Prydz and The Presets. Tickets are still on sale, and selling out fast. You can get your hot little hands on some here.
If you're going to Harbourlife, just keep partying and head to Field Day on January 1. This year has a killer lineup. Santogold, Digitalism, Boys Noize, A-Track, Busy P, Dj Mehdi, Roger Sanchez just to name a few. What a way to spend New Years Day. With a lineup like that you would think it's sold out,but today's your lucky day, Tickets are still on sale and you can pick them up here.
Then the rest of January is a little quiet until Big Day Out roars up the street towards the end of the month. Big Day Out brings a little for everyone. First announcement consists of The Prodigy, Sneaky Sound System, Cut Copy, Simian Mobile Disco, with many more to be announced. Ballots are now open for Sydney and Gold Coast, but for those lucky peeps everywhere else, tickets are still available here.
You know summer is on the way out when Good Vibrations comes up. Always a cool chillaxed festival, this year they are bringing out the phat man, Fat Boy Slim. Others include The Presets - now festival sluts - The Roots, Miami Horror, Chromeo.. and more TBA. Kicking off on February 14th tickets are available here.
Just on another note, it was about a month ago now when this strange brown box turned up on my doorstep. Inside was an ear wearing a headphone. Awesome packaging for a pair of Coosh headphones. I gave them a good test out and conclude that these are solid in ear headphones. What really amazed me was that you can get them for your iPhone or Blackberry as well as mp3 player. More info is available on the Coosh website here. Check them out and let me know what you think.
