Splendour In The Grass

What a line-up... This year's Splendour In The Grass is going to be MASSIVE.... And we only have the first announcement. After just returning from New York and using up all my holiday leave, I now have to build it all back up again so I can go away for this weekend.
Although the festival may only go for 2 days, it's all about the road trip up north from Sydney, or some die hard fans from Melbourne, or even south from QLD. Splendour kicks off on Saturday July 25 at its home - Belongill Fields in Byron Bay. This is the line-up thus far:

Damn it feels good to be back. The New Year has arrived and when looking back over 2008. There is a little Swedish girl by the name of Lykke Li that took us all by surprise. With that in mind, when I came across the Friendly Fires cover of I’m good I’m gone. I knew they had tough shoes to fill.This fantastically electronic cover features the vocals of front man Ed Macfarlane. Accompanied by the distant ringing of keys and an infectious bass line. If only I went for another 10 minutes.
Welcome to 2009, shout, dance and fuck off New Years resolutions.
